Memorial day

Today I am grateful for my boy, my bountiful garden, friends to hang out with, a job to complain about and that I pushed my limit and found out that running is definitely not an option for these old knees.

And I'm grateful that my dad made it back from WWII and was able to heal his spirit after such atrocities. I pray the same is possible for all the soldiers in the world.

And I send out a special prayer for the oceans of the world, especially the gulf.
