inspired

i'm grateful for each of you that posts here. i find it inspiring.
so much so, that today, i'd decided not to post, but just to look.
i'm having a hard time lately. this recovery thing has got me wading in the murkiness...
hoping i move through it quickly...and at the same time, not willing to sweep my feelings that come up under the proverbial rug and pretnd that they are not there, becasue they are...

SO, today, i'm grateful for:

getting a good "review" from the doctor. i'm healing at a good rate and he said i'm a "9" out of "10" - whatever that means!

i'm grateful for getting the stitches out, and am now working on scar reductionn

i'm happy that i only have 6 more days of orthopedic shoe. even if that means i have to wear the dreaded sneaker for 3 weeks.

i'm grateful for the fun flirty email exchange i had all day yesterday

and i'm grateful that i have a great sense of humor (though it's been undercover the last week or so), and i have the ability to make others laugh often...
