Today I am grateful for the Monterey Bay Aquarium and all of the creatures that live in the sea. I am also grateful for the water that gives life. I'm grateful for my car and the roads I travel on, the gasoline and oil that keeps it running and the labor that makes it all happen. I'm grateful for everyone who is putting money, research, voices and actions into finding alternative energy sources and making them viable for everyone on the planet. I'm grateful for healers. I'm grateful for all of the parents who bring their children to aquariums and I'm grateful for the sounds of children (and adults) squealing with delight over images like the one above. And finally, I'm grateful for sea otters!
